The yellow lemon guava tree is a heavy bearer of small, 1 to 1.5 inch fruits. The guavas are delicious, with white flesh that has a sweet tangy strawberry guava flavor. These lemon guavas are high in Vitamin C, and can be eaten fresh, juiced, or used in jellies. This guava variety is a handsome plant that can be trained as a shrub or a small tree, or even used as a hedge. The Yellow Lemon Guava is hardy to 24 degrees, and would make an outstanding tub or container plant. Evergreen.
