The Hula Girl hibiscus will provide your yard with a splash of single yellow flowers, allowing you to create your own tropical paradise. Flowers on this hibiscus are large with a touch of bright red in the throat. The hula girl, as do all tropical hibiscus varieties are profuse bloomers, in color most if not all of the summer. Use the hula girl around pools for an invaluable tropical effect. The bright yellow hibiscus flowers give a nice contrast to the dark green foliage, and are especially showy when used with annual color. Flowers attract hummingbirds, so use where the charm of this plant can be enjoyed. Use the Hula Girl Hibiscus against plaster or stucco walls, against side yard fences, and between windows. Grows to about 6 to 8 feet high or easily clip to shape. Prefers at least moderately draining soil, but usually not too picky. Plant in full to partial sun, but try to avoid excessively hot spots. Hardy to USDA zone 10 and all higher zones, but a worthwhile annual in colder locations.
