The 'Wichita Blue' juniper is a plant that does a whole lot, easily becoming the 'go to' plant for difficult or hard to fill situations. This easy care conifer is listed in literature as good for attracting birds, deer resistant, an easy care drought tolerant plant, one good for the beach or seacoast exposure (there's more), for borders or privacy screens and also can be utilized as a windbreak. And the year round blue color is pretty cool, too. The Wichita Blue is hardy to USDA zone 3 and higher, liking full sun. An evergreen plant growing to about 10 to 15 feet tall and about 4 to 6 feet wide or clip to desired size and shape, larger with age. Your juniper will be shipped potted in soil for best possible results when planted in yard or garden.
