The Washington navel orange will give you an abundance of easily peeled, sweet and seedless fruit ripening winter into early spring. The navel has flowers that are fragrant, becoming something to be enjoyed in their own right. Orange trees prefer full sun if outdoors or bright interior light if used as a house plant. To about 12 feet tall or so, but can easily be clipped to any desired size and shape. Citrus trees make great indoor plants with their clean glossy foliage and colorful ripening fruit that makes for a nice color contrast. Pollinate by hand if indoors during its flowering cycle. This variety is California's prime commercial orange. This orange is an eating experience!! It can also be easily juiced.
