The Utah Sweet Fruiting Pomegranate is an attractive shrub with showy orange flowers and delicious fruit for double the benefit. The Utah Sweet treats you to medium sized fruit with whitish/pink blushed flesh and sweet pale pink kernels which do not stain. This pomegranate tree is an excellent choice for most climates, only needing 150 hours chilling. Hardy to USDA zone 7 and all higher zones. The tree does well in containers, taking lots of full hot sun, and not needing much maintenance, so a perfect choice for gardeners on the go. The Utah Sweet pomegranate grows to about 8 feet tall or clip to shape and is self fertile ripening September to October. Shipped as a potted five gallon tree in its original soil and container to ensure a healthier start when planted in yard or garden.
