Tom Knudsen camellia plant is quite showy with its spectacular, dark red blooms, accented by deep red veining. Formal to rose form. Early to midseason. Flowers make a dazzling contrast with the glossy, dark green foliage. Evergreen. Moderate growing to 6 to 8 ft. tall and wide, larger with age or clip to shape. Flowers can be used for cutting. Camellias are invaluable in Oriental gardens, or for adding color and foliage to covered patios. Enjoy in any shade garden setting, mixing with ferns or other colorful shade loving plants. Flowers in the winter to very early spring. Shipped potted in its original soil and container. Would make a great gift. Hardy to USDA zone 8 and all higher zones.
