Black Satin Thornless Blackberry Vine One Gallon Plant
Grown by Monrovia growers. Blacksatin blackberry is a prolific producer of tasty large, black fruit in midsummer of second year. Small soft pink flowers fade to white and precede fruit on erect, then arching to the ground thornless canes. Tolerates heat. Deciduous. Full sun. Fast grower to 5 to 6 feet tall and wide or clip or train to desired shape. Hardy to USDA zone 5. A delicious berry with thornless canes makes this Blackberry an excellent choice for the fruit garden. Plant it in full sun and provide support for the canes. Blackberries are always awesome for jam or jelly and the best pies! Shipped triple staked as a potted one gallon specimen in its original soil and container.
Not at all. They are pretty 'hands off'...just keep well watered in the warm part of the year. Consider a vine to cover an old fence, a tree stump, blank side of a shed, basically anything to give a bit of support. A cottage garden stand out!
