The Strawberry Red Guava tree is a heavy bearer of small fruits with delicious white flesh. Flavor is sweet, with a tangy strawberry guava flavor. The guavas are high in vitamin C, and can be eaten fresh, juiced, or used in jellies. This guava variety is a handsome plant that can be trained as a shrub or a tree, and even useful as a hedge. The strawberry guava prefers full sun, and is hardy to 24°’s. For those in extreme winter areas, plant in a container and enjoy as a houseplant. This tropical beauty is self fertile ripening August to December. We ship all of our trees potted in soil to ensure a healthier start when planted in yard or garden.
