Star Magnolia Tree Five Gallon
Magnolia Stellata, or star magnolia is one of the deciduous magnolias. Consider this variety for greater cold durability and variety of flower colors. The star magnolia is best known for its star shaped, fragrant double white blossoms which are kind of pretty in their own way, a little a-typical than most magnolia flowers. Choose this magnolia variety if space is at a premium, as growth is to only 10-15 feet or easily clip to desired size and shape, making it a worthwhile consideration in large planter beds as well as the lawn. The star magnolia is great for courtyards and entry courts, town-house and condominium gardens. Full sun, and average soil and water. Hardy to USDA zone 4 and higher. Shipped potted in soil to ensure the best possible start when planted in yard or garden.
