Southern Belle Dwarf Nectarine has it all. How can you beat very large, yellow fleshed freestone fruit and very attractive pink blossoms that cover the tree each and every spring. The Southern Belle does bloom early, indicating a low chilling requirement (300 hours) yet a tree hardy to USDA zone 7 and higher. Consider this little beauty in containers on porch or patio, as it does carry the nickname of "patio" nectarine. Or in other words, lots of fruit and not much work. The fruit ripens late July to early August, with a naturally occurring height of only 5 by 5 feet, but can easily be clipped shorter. Full sun for best fruit production. This tree is shipped as a potted five gallon specimen for best possible results when planted in yard or garden.
