Snowflake Oakleaf Hydrangea is a fast growing shrub to 4 to 6 feet tall with equal width, or clip to shape, enjoying white bloom clusters reaching 12 to 15 inches late spring into the summer. The flowers are quite stunning. Foliage on this variety of oakleaf hydrangea is uniquly lobed, with rich fall color that works well in shrub borders, extending the interest beyond the flowering season. The Snowflake will lend a fiery hue to otherwise deep green shade gardens. Plant the snowflake hydrangea as an individual specimen to appreciate the unique foliage texture and leaf shape, or in a cluster to intensify its impact on the garden. It is not as prim and proper as the traditional hydrangea, making it a natural in the woodland scene and among natives. Shipped as a well established five gallon plant in its original soil and container to ensure a healthier start when planted in yard or garden. Hardy to USDA zone 5 and all higher zones.
