Razzleberry, or Lorapetalum is kind of a cool plant, one giving both visual and textural contrast with its dark burgundy foliage that layers nicely, so pretty to look at even when not in bloom. Clusters of raspberry red fringed flowers appear winter into spring. Showy new growth is burgundy tinged, maturing to olive green. Evergreen. Full to partial sun. Enjoy this topiary form in a large container, or use as focal point in a garden bed. Clip to maintain topiary size and shape. Provides unique effects against light value evergreens and as a dark background for high contrast perennials in mixed beds.
