Clementine is an early season mandarin producing sweet and juicy fruit that will hold on the tree for months. Your clementines are easily peeled, usually found on the outside of the tree. This mandarin variety is evergreen, enjoying full sun. Citrus are great in containers indoors or out, and can easily be kept to desired size and shape with a little clipping. The standard Clementine may reach about 12 feet if planted outdoors in the ground, so consider for specimen tree or even large hedge or screen. Would be a classy addition to deck or patio, planted in a large decorative container. These trees ship over three feet tall, so a worthwhile gift for gardeners in extreme winter areas.
