The Heatwave Sage, or Salvia Scorcher is one of a series of tough sage plants from Monrovia growers, bred for its compact rounded habit and disease resistance. This fast growing, compact plant reaches 24 inches tall and wide, just right for those hard to fill nooks and crannies between larger plants. The soft pink blossoms have a longer bloom time than other sage, yet quickly re-bloom after spent flowers are removed, treating you to non stop color from spring to frost. This salvia is a must for the drought tolerant garden, perennial borders and patio containers. A great sage to have in your garden for attracting hummingbirds. It is a semi woody perennial, loving full sun. Shipped potted in soil to ensure the best possible start when planted in yard or garden. Hardy to USDA zone 6 and all higher zones.
