The Redblush grapefruit is an improved variety with fewer seeds and rich blush red color to the flesh and rind. Fruit lasts well on the tree, ripening in winter through spring. Evergreen. Grapefruit trees prefer full sun, with the semi dwarf Red Blush growing to about 15 feet or clip to shape. A good place for your newest citrus tree is at the sunniest corner of the house or drive. Since grapefruits stay attractive throughout the winter, it is an excellent addition to the winter landscape. Hardy to USDA zone 9 and all higher zones.
