Agapanthus "Queen Anne", also known as lily of the nile is an easy care, low growing perennial to about 12 to 18 inches high and wide, with flower stalks to about 2 feet tall. Enjoy a profusion of baby blue colored flowers late spring into mid summer. The Queen Anne is evergeen, thriving in full to partial sun, but would appreciate a bit more shade if planted in extreme summer areas. This agapanthus variety does well in average soil and water. Use this flowering perennial in rock gardens, mass planted in front of taller evergreen bushes, in containers, and even consider in fire scaping. Agapanthus are hardy to USDA zone 8 and all higher zones. Shipped as a potted one gallon plant to ensure the best possible start when planted in yard or garden.
