The Pink Stripe New Zealand Flax will add a spot of color in your yard, making an easy care focal point with bold foliage edged in pink. Mass plant for an even greater effect. All phormium (flax) do prefer soil that drains well, so a pretty easy care plant in the big picture. Plant in full sun for best color. The pink stripe grows to about 4 feet tall with clumps about 2 to 3 feet wide, a go to plant for rock gardens, along driveways or mixed with other low growing green leafed plants for color contrast. Shipped potted in soil for best possible results when planted in yard or garden. Hardy to USDA zone 8 and all higher zones. Try in a container if you live in colder regions of the country, as always a refreshing sight to see leaves and color when so many plants are dormant.
