Gaura produces airy masses of deep pink flowers that flutter around this perennial in late spring through fall. Blossoms practically smother the red-tinged foliage. Improved variety bears a sturdy upright habit that will not fall open like others. Use for late color in perennial borders. Spot into mixed beds or cottage garden compositions. Good for containers & cut flowers. Tolerates drought, heat & humidity. Exceptional in containers and as cut flower. California native variety that tolerates drought, heat and humidity. Herbaceous perennial. Full sun. Moderate growth to 2 or 3 feet tall and as wide. Hardy to USDA zone 6 and all higher zones. Shipped as a potted one gallon plant in its original soil and container.
