The "Petite Snow" Crape Myrtle is in its element in the hottest of months, covered with snowy white blossoms in the summer time. The petite snow, as do all lagerstoemia varieties thrive in full hot sun, giving color at a time of year when most of the spring show has already finished. The white blossoms of the "Petite Snow" crape myrtle will help cool a hot part of the garden when massed there. Use this white crape myrtle mixed with other crape myrtle colors bordering a path or walkway, or in large containers on sunny deck or patio. Mix with other plant material with various shades of leaf color for an even greater effect. This plant can be maintained at only 5 feet tall by 4 feet wide or shorter if space is at a premium. Clipping will also give you a more formal look. The Petite Snow is hardy to USDA zone 7 and all higher zones, shipped as a potted five gallon plant over 2 feet tall and wide.
