Petite Red Imp Crape Myrtle is a lagerstroemia variety best known for its profusion of deep crimson red blossoms each summer to fall. As with any crape myrtle, the petite red imp provides a head turning show when planted in mass, or enjoy as a single specimen where the attractive bark and fall leaf color can be enjoyed along with the summer time flowers. Perfect for the centerpiece of a raised terrace or planted along a driveway for a colorful welcome home. The red imp is a moderate grower to about 5 feet tall or clip to shape, enjoying full hot sun for best flowering. Keep well watered in the summer heat while young.
