Petite Plum Crape Myrtle Topiary would be an awesome way to get a splash of deep plum-purple colored crepe like blooms in the landscape. Lagerstroemias are one of the best choices for very bright, very hot areas where summer time color is desired. The show does not stop here...lagerstroemias are invaluable for fall leaf color, and the peeling bark gives a nice winter time effect as well. This topiary form can be used in containers planted with seasonal annuals for twice the color. Use against a fence, or along the side of a shed or carport to soften the effect. Petite crape myrtles grow to about 5 feet tall, but can easily be clipped to maintain topiary form and desired size. Hardy to USDA zone 7 and all higher zones. Deciduous. Shipped as a potted five gallon specimen to ensure the best possible start when planted in yard or garden.
