Put the tiger in your fruit bowl with the "Panache" fig. Also called tiger fig, not only will you be awed by its unique striping on the outside of the fruit, but enjoy why its in your hands in the first place...an exceptionally flavored piece of fruit. This fig is small to medium sized with red fleshed pulp, doing best where the growing season is a bit longer. For those in colder areas, just move your tree indoors or to a sun room late in the season to lengthen the 'summer' until you can enjoy your figs. The panache ripens late, hardy to USDA zone 7 and all higher zones. Your tree will be shipped potted in soil for best results.
