The tiger fig, also called the panache fig has especially fine flavor. The fruit is small to medium sized with green color and yellow 'tiger' stripes. The fruit from your fig tree has strawberry colored pulp and is self fertile, needing minimal winter chilling to produce an abundant crop, meaning the tree will do well in warm winter areas, yet cold hardy to USDA zone 7 and all higher zones. Shipped potted in soil to ensure the best possible start when planted in yard or garden.
