This is our very best Meyer lemon tree offering. This special selection has been hand crafted by Monrovia Nursery, the best wholesale grower in the trade. The soil mix has been scientifically formulated for optimal performance, so plant it and forget about it till next season. With such a pampered beginning, the tree will add lots of high quality new growth come spring time. Consider this selection for that special someone, as a Christmas gift, or treat yourself to home made lemon merengue pie. The Meyer is different than conventional lemons in that the taste is sweeter and less acid. Rind is thinner and more orangish in color than typical lemons. The Meyer lemon is evergreen, growing to about 8 to 10 feet or clip to shape, thriving best in full sun. For those in extreme winter areas, the Meyer makes a great container plant on sunny porch, patio, or deck, moved indoors as needed. Shipped as a potted five gallon tree in its original soil and container. Can not ship citrus trees to TX, AZ, or FL.

Frequently Asked Questions
Can you really ship citrus trees this time of the year?
Since we ship all of our trees potted in soil, yes we are able to offer shipment year round. We monitor weather.com, and hold shipment temporarily if weather is too extreme. We add insulation to the trees as weather dictates, packaging each carefully by hand to ensure the best possible tree when it arrives at your home.

How are the trees prepared to make such a journey in the winter?
We carefully box each tree by hand, adding protective measures to absorb excessive vibration or movement while in transit. The root balls are then bagged to hold in moisture while the trees are on their way, with an additional card board collar placed over the tree to provide additional protection from the elements. Some leaf drop may occur, but the tree, once moved to a proper and safe location should re-foliate very quickly.
