The Nuccio's Gem camellia is an evergreen, shade loving plant. Its blossoms open to a nicely formed flower that is all white. All camellias do best in loose, rich soil with afternoon shade. Keep soil consistently moist. Growth over many years to 6 to 8 feet tall, but its slower growth rate lends itself to easy maintenance of its overall size. Plant with ferns, azaleas or other shade loving plant material. Hardy to USDA zone 8 and all higher zones. Shipped potted in soil to ensure the best possible start when planted in yard or garden.
