Crape Myrtle "Muskogee" Five Gallon Plant
Muskogee Crape Myrtle blooms light lavender pink flowers in the summer. The show does not stop here, as with the onset of cold weather, this sun and heat loving deciduous shrub transforms into a head turning explosion of red fall leaf color. Even after crape myrtles drop their foliage, they still look awesome in the winter, as its cinnamon colored bark is smooth, peeling to shiny light gray. The Muskogee is a large shrub to small tree, as it can reach 15 to 20 feet tall if not clipped, but can be kept to any size. Use this Lagerstroemia variety as a specimen, or mix into an all green landscape to add some seasonal color. Hardy to USDA zone 6 and all higher zones. Shipped potted in soil to ensure the best possible start when planted in yard or garden.
