The Moniqui Apricot has large to very large fruit, with thick skin and creamy white flesh with coral pink blush and golden highlights around the stem. The flesh is tender, white, juicy with a melting texture and sweet flavor. Enjoy these apricots mid summer, with the delicious crop of fruit becoming ripe in early July. Self fertile, needing 700 chill hours. Plant an apricot tree for shade as well, as they are fast growing to about 15 feet tall. The apricots can be used for fresh eating, canning, drying or jams and jellies. Shipped potted in soil to ensure a healthier start when planted in yard or garden.
