This Lisbon Lemon tree, grown by Monrovia growers, will give you a super start to an overflowing fruit bowl. Already four feet tall when shipped right to your door, it will put on loads of new growth once planted in your yard, thanks to Monrovia nursery's scientific approach to growing and producing some of the best plants on the market. The lisbon is a super lemon tree, more tolerant of extremes of heat, wind and cold than other lemon varieties. Good for containers in a patio setting where you can easily pick your own home grown lemons, just like the ones you see at the market. Once this citrus tree reaches fruit bearing age, it has fruit on the tree nearly year round, bearing quite heavily. It is a vigorous and tall growing tree to about 25 feet if planted in the ground and allowed to grow to maximum size. Lemon trees can be grown indoors in extreme winter areas, clipping to maintain desired size and shape. Bright yellow fruit, large size, nice tart flavor. Fruit can be harvested year round in most areas. Evergreen. Shipped as a potted five gallon tree to ensure a healthier start when planted in yard or garden. Can not ship citrus trees to TX, AZ, or FL.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can you really ship citrus trees this time of the year?
Since we ship all of our trees potted in soil, yes we are able to offer shipment year round. We monitor weather.com, and hold shipment temporarily if weather is too extreme. We add insulation to the trees as weather dictates, packaging each carefully by hand to ensure the best possible tree when it arrives at your home.

How are the trees prepared to make such a journey in the winter?
We carefully box each tree by hand, adding protective measures to absorb excessive vibration or movement while in transit. The root balls are then bagged to hold in moisture while the trees are on their way, with an additional card board collar placed over the tree to provide additional protection from the elements. Some leaf drop may occur, but the tree, once moved to a proper and safe location should re-foliate very quickly.
