Liriope "Silvery Sunproof", also known as silvery sunproof lilyturf, is a tough and hardy perennial known for its bold yellow and white striped foliage with flower spikes of soft lilac in summer. Use this liriope variety for small scale ground cover, to edge a walkway, and is an effective filler in tub plantings. The silvery sunproof lilyturf can take full sun in cool climates, otherwise plant where it could enjoy some shade in the hot afternoons. This plant has clumping, blade like foliage 15 to 18 inches tall with flowers above the foliage. The bright variegated leaves also bring a sense of light into darker plantings or woodland gardens. Plant next to boulders or rock waterfalls. Shipped potted in soil to ensure the best possible start when planted in yard or garden. Hardy to USDA zone 6 and all higher zones.
