They took this lilac and trained into a small tree...plenty of color, lots of fragrance but even more versatility in the landscape. Try in a container where you could add seasonal annuals for double the color. Plant a pair and you can frame an entryway with ease. Flowers on the Chinese Lilac are good for cutting, so feel free to clip and bring indoors for enjoyment up close. Lilacs also attract butterflies and hummingbirds, giving you something cool to watch from your kitchen window, but deer resistant though. Hardy to USDA zone 3 and higher. Plant in full sun and keep consistently moist, not soggy or dry. Clip to maintain topiary form. Your new lilac will be shipped potted in its original soil and container for best possible results when planted in yard or garden.
