Lavender Twist Redbud is a new Cercis variety that will meet many more needs of the urban landscape. This spring flowering tree will only reach 5 to 6 feet tall, making it a worthwhile consideration as an accent or focal point for any large planting bed, giving you some pretty color you can enjoy close up. Rosy pink flowers will completely cover the bare, slightly twisted weeping branches in early spring. Foliage on the 'lavender twist' is heart shaped with a rich green color. Prune to manage size and shape if necessary. Accent your tree with low growing perennials, maybe a rock or two and even some ground cover to make a pleasing accent to a walkway or side yard. Full sun. Hardy to USDA zone 5 and higher. Shipped potted in soil to ensure the best possible results when planted in yard or garden.
