The Lane Late Navel Orange tree is an excellent addition to your citrus collection, as it extends harvest season by 4 to 6 weeks. The fruit holds well on the tree. The lane late oranges are sweet and juicy, easily peeled and seedless. The flowers of this orange tree are fragrant, and are borne against foliage that is clean and glossy. Plant the Lane Late navel outdoors in full sun for best fruit production, or bright interior light if used as a house plant. Citrus tree are clean, making them excellent choices in large containers on sunny patio or deck. Will grow to about 10 to 12 feet or easily clip to shape. This late navel can also be juiced. Can not ship citrus trees to TX, FL, or AZ. Shipped as a potted five gallon tree in its original soil and container to ensure a healthier start when planted in yard or garden.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can you really grow orange trees indoors?
Give the tree the same care as any other indoor foliage plant...at least moderate light and away from direct air flow from a heater or cooler. Spritz the foliage on occasion to maintain adequate humidity. You'll be harvesting before you know it.

Can you really ship citrus trees this time of the year?
Since we ship all of our trees potted in soil, yes we are able to offer shipment year round. We monitor weather.com, and hold shipment temporarily if weather is too extreme. We add insulation to the trees as weather dictates, packaging each carefully by hand to ensure the best possible tree when it arrives at your home.

How are the trees prepared to make such a journey in the winter?
We carefully box each tree by hand, adding protective measures to absorb excessive vibration or movement while in transit. The root balls are then bagged to hold in moisture while the trees are on their way, with an additional card board collar placed over the tree to provide additional protection from the elements. Some leaf drop may occur, but the tree, once moved to a proper and safe location should re-foliate very quickly.
