Kwanzan Flowering Cherry Tree, Five Gallon Container by Monrovia Growers
The Kwanzan Flowering Cherry will be a tree asking for very little of your time, yet one that once in bloom will make you very happy, an explosion of pink color seen all the way down the block. This flowering tree blooms early season, a sure sign that spring and its warm, sunny days are coming soon. The flowers on the Kwanzan flowering cherry are double pink, soft and subtle, one always pretty to look at. The trunk has shiny, peeling coppery bark for a bit more visual interest, with the tree growing in an upright, vase-shaped branching habit. Deciduous. The Kwanzan is a moderate grower to about 20-25 feet tall or clip to desired size and shape. An excellent choice used to anchor the corner of the yard where its pink flowers against the earth tones of a wooden fence or other evergreens makes for a good color contrast. Hardy to USDA zone 5 and higher, and is shipped as a potted specimen to ensure the best possible start when planted in yard or garden.
