Kramer's Supreme Camellia provides that elusive true red blossom, as many shrubs listed as having red color, typically end up having a 'cherry red' or some other hue that is close but not exact. The blooms on the Kramer's are deep red with peony form, even having some fragrance which is always a plus. The flowers make a dazzling contrast with the glossy, dark green foliage appearing December to February. The blooms are very large. This camellia is moderate growing to 6 to 8 feet tall and wide or clip to any shape. Prefers filtered sun. Hardy to about 10°'s. Great in pots on shady porch, patio, or deck, or would make stunning accent in any shade garden. Shipped as a potted five gallon plant in its original soil and container.
