This is one great lime with two names....known as either the Key Lime or the Mexican Lime, but in either case, a tree nice to have around in a large container just an arm's length away. Also called the bartender's lime, the mature fruit is small, green to yellow-green ripening in July to December. This lime variety will do fine in containers indoors where they can be kept warm in the winter, and then returning to sunny deck or patio for the season. Squirt a bit of moisture on the foliage while indoors to aid in humidity levels....your tree will like it. The Key lime is a moderate grower to about 10-12 feet tall or easily clipped shorter. The juice is great for baking, with its greatest claim to fame being Key Lime Pie. Squeeze some fresh lime juice into water or any other favorite drink you enjoy. Can not ship citrus trees to AZ, FL, or TX. The tree is shipped as a potted five gallon specimen in its original soil and container.
