The Kashmir Blend pomegranate has medium sized fruit with light pink to red exterior. The fruit has ruby red seeds with intense flavor and no overbearing acidic taste. The Kashmir blend has a slightly spreading growth habit, and can also be grown as a shade tree. Maintain desired height with summer pruning. The Kashmir blend, as do all pomegranates, provides an excellent source of antioxidants. Enjoy the fruit fresh or use in cooking. This pomegranate variety only needs about 150 to 200 hours of chilling, but is hardy to USDA zone 7, giving it a wide range of adaptability from mild winter areas to those a little more cold. Shipped potted in soil to ensure a healthier start when planted in yard or garden.
