The ‘Jim Bacon’ avocado is a seedling of Bacon, offering the benefit of slightly greater frost tolerance (to 24°’s after some maturity). Fruit from your very own tree will be medium sized with green skin, flesh smooth, creamy and flavorful. No hungry stomachs with a Jim Bacon around, as it is heavy producing and self fertile. Plant in well draining soil with strong light. Ripens October to January. Your avocado tree will be shipped potted in soil to ensure the best possible start when planted in yard or garden.
