Viridis Japanese Maple is an attractive garden or patio tree that displays a classy, cascading look perfect for tumbling over moss covered boulders or spilling out of a large container on shady porch or patio. The emerald green color of the foliage provides an excellent backdrop to shady seasonal annuals. Its layered growth habit lends itself well to bonsai use, and is invaluable in Japanese Garden landscapes. This Japanese Maple variety is a slow grower to only about 6 to 8 feet tall and about as wide, or easily clipped to shape for many years. Japanese Maple "Viridis" will continue the show with yellow to gold and then to red fall color. Morning sun to afternoon shade best. Hardy to USDA zone 5 and all higher zones. We ship all of our trees potted in soil to assure a healthier start when planted in yard or garden.
