Hibiscus "Aphrodite" is one of the Rose of Sharon hibiscus varieties tolerant of cold down to USDA zone 5, so consider as a good source of summer time color for porch, patio or pool side. The Hibiscus 'aphrodite' loads up with deep rose pink blossoms with a red eye that are quite showy, blooming spring through summer. An excellent choice for sunny deck, as this hibiscus variety is in its element in the summer time heat, though it would certainly not mind some filtered shade. Use to generate some height on a stark wall, or to soften a deck or porch railing. Would be exceptionally showy framing a large, pull up garage door. Place across the yard for a spot of color visible from your windows. Clip in the winter to maintain size and shape. Shipped about four feet tall in its original soil and container.
