Haden mango, originating from the state of Florida, will not only place fresh mangos in your hand that are of high quality with a "full sweet flavor", but will also double as a nice shade tree with its vigorous growth and wide spreading branches. Can you think of a better way to get relief from a hot mid day sun, shade and fruit from the same tree. Your Haden mangos (sometimes spelled 'Hayden') are yellow in color splashed crimson. Sometimes the fruit, ripening June through July, may ripen from the inside out being softer near the seed. Keep fruit as dry as possible as harvest approaches, also keeping good air circulation as fruit may spot from fungus on occasion. Overall the Haden will be a satisfying, well enjoyed fresh mango, one that produces well. This tree will be shipped potted in soil for best possible results when planted in yard or orchard.
