Ginkgo biloba is a superb shade tree! Confidently plant this newer fruitless ginkgo as a street or lawn tree. Tuck away in the far back corner of your yard, where its fall color will crisply stand out and blanket the ground with a bright yellow carpet. The ginkgo is a slow growing tree, so you can get away in using it in large containers or large shrub beds. Hardy to USDA zone 4 and all higher zones. Deciduous. Full sun. Up to 35’ or a little more over time. Wide spreading. Shipped as a potted five gallon tree in its original soil and container.
