Woodwardia, or Giant Chain Fern is a native evergreen fern that bears coarsely divided sword-like fronds to 6’ tall. Light to medium green color. Forms rounded rosettes of fronds, with the bases covered with golden brown fuzz. Pretty drought tolerant when established. Part shade, average watering give best growth. Good in containers or against shady wall. Use along shady walkway underneath the canopy of tall trees. Hardy to the mid 20°'s. Shipped as a potted one gallon plant in its original soil.
