Enjoy a nice head start by starting with a gardenia topiary--glance out your window and there it is, the glossy foliage and aromatic flowers four feet off the ground, no need to step outside to enjoy your new beauty. No need to plant straight into the ground either, as gardenias do quite well in container on porch or patio, just be sure to use high quality potting soil and a container with drainage holes. Gardenia August Beauty is highly prized for its profusion of sweetly fragrant double blooms, excellent for cut flowers. Evergreen. Full to partial sun. Clip to maintain current topiary shape. Best planted close to outdoor living spaces in heavy ceramic pots or raised planters to enjoy the lovely fragrance. Follow a regular watering schedule during the first growing season to establish a deep, extensive root system. Feed with a general purpose fertilizer before new growth begins in spring. Shipped in its original soil and container about four feet tall. Hardy to USDA zone 8 and all higher zones.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is the best way to contact you if I have any plant care questions?
BuyPlantsOnline.com is a small, family run company, so we are able to really get to know our customers, and welcome the opportunity to do so. You can reach us by phone (888-209-4356) or by email (info@plantsonline.net) and we'll get right back to you. If you email and don't hear from us in a few days, drop another line, as sometimes one or two sneak by us.

What is the best way to water a gardenia plant?
Keep soil moist, not soggy or dry. When you do irrigate, water like you mean it and soak well, and then wait till the soil is slightly dry to the touch to water again.
