Frequently Asked Questions
I like ferns, but where I live gets a little cold. Any suggestions?
Try the foxtail fern, also known as asparagus 'meyeri', hardy to USDA zone 9. This fern should take to about 20°'s. Cover to give a tad more protection.

Any more design ideas to suggest for this fern?
Use as focal point in large planter container. Then include a variegated Liriope and finish with seasonal annuals to spill out of the container. The emerald green of the fern, coupled with its strongly vertical growth habit will contrast nicely with the yellows of the Liriope. The seasonal flowers will give that 'pop' of color to really tie it all together.
