Dwarf Flowering Pomegranate is a showy, dense dwarf shrub displaying attractive orange-red single flowers at an early age, followed by colorful fruit. Excellent for containers or for use in the garden. Effective bonsai. Deciduous. Blooms summer. Moderate grower to 3 ft. tall and wide or clip to shape. One of the best for very hot sunny areas. Hardy to USDA zone 7 and all higher zones. Fruit can be used in dry floral arranging. This small shrub is just the right size to tuck into a full sun planting scheme. Attractive in flower and fruit, it will add good contrast to the border. Also grows well in containers. Shipped as a potted five gallon plant in its original soil and container. Plant is about 2.5 feet tall when shipped.
