Confederate Rose Mallow, a deciduous hibiscus cultivar hardy to USDA zone 7and higher would be a great makeover plant for gardens due to its rapid growth and large size. Flowers on the confederate rose mallow are huge and quite showy, making a big impact in borders and beds where you can enjoy the purplish pink blossoms summer time. Plant this hibiscus cultivar in full sun and use anywhere you need a large effect. Makes a great foundation plant, but would be most stunning as a cottage garden plant amidst traditional perennial flowers. Mix with an all green landscape as a pop of color.
