The 'Chandler' is a blueberry you have to try, quoted by Monrovia growers as "holding the distinction of being the world's largest blueberry." If you happen to live in an area where winters are mild to moderate, this is another advantage of the Chandler, as it does well in areas where you don't need your heavy winter jacket. The blueberries are flavorful, beginning mid season and stretching on for awhile, as the Chandler blueberry is one that does not ripen all at once...fresh berries over a 4-6 week period. To about 5 to 7 feet tall or easily clip to shape. Try blueberries plants in the cottage or rustic garden, or even consider as an 'edible' hedge or border. Plant in loose, rich, slightly acidic soil. Keep moist not soggy or dry. Shipped potted in soil for best possible results when planted in yard or garden.
