The Cecile Brunner climbing rose grows fast, quickly filling up a corner where two fences meet, an arbor, or over the top of a trellis. This polyantha rose is low maintenance, just plant it and enjoy an explosion of small pink roses each and every spring. The Cecile Brunner's old fashioned vigor, even foliage distribution and repeat blooming is coupled with disease resistance that make this an ever popular variety affectionately called the sweetheart rose. The small pink roses are fragrant, an invaluable choice for cottage or country gardens where it grows into graceful bowers with little pruning required. Deciduous. Full sun. Moderate grower with long, flexible canes 10 to 20 ft. long, 3 to 6 ft. wide or clip to shape. Hardy to USDA zone 4 and all higher zones.
