Cape plumbago has huge clusters of vivid, deep blue flowers that cover this sprawling densely mounded vine like shrub most of the year. The plumbago grows to about 4 to 5 feet tall by up to 6 feet wide or easily clip to shape. Plumbagos take heat and full sun with no problem. Established plants can take down to about 20 to 22°. Evergreen to semi evergreen. The Cape Plumbago plant is great for erosion control, and a great source of cool blue hues in the garden. Use in front of other plants with clean, glossy green foliage for good contrast of colors. Shipped as a potted one gallon plant in its original soil and container to ensure a healthier start when planted in yard or garden.
