Camellia sasanqua `Setsugekka' will be another tough, shade loving source of color in the autumn, loading up with large sized flowers that are semi double, white with ruffled edges. Unlike Yuletide with its more upright habit, setsugekka has a more dense, semi weeping habit, just right for pairing with moss covered boulders or some other shade garden hard structure. Pair this camellia with white hydrangeas, azaleas, or even gardenias for a classy, all white elegant effect. A must for Asian or woodland settings under large old shade trees with filtered canopies. Camellia setsugekka blooms October into December, moderate growing 8 to 10 ft. tall and wide or easily clip to shape. Partial sun. Hardy to USDA zone 7 and all higher zones.
